The selection of a specific typeface in a math formula should not depend on the surrounding environment. Characters in math normally denote special things which should stay fixed even if the surrounding text is set in another <#224#>shape<#224#> or <#225#>series<#225#>. Therefore the strategy for selecting math fonts is somewhat different.
